David has been a cutting-edge tech entrepreneur and CEO for more than 30 years. He founded and successfully grew Banksia Technology Pty Limited making it a fast growing and highly profitable business. 1996 saw him instigate a series of fruitful competitor takeovers, including NetComm Limited after which he assumed the management of the merged entity as CEO. He remains the single largest shareholder of NetComm Wireless today.
For his significant and valuable contribution to the Australian Communications Industry, David was recently recognised with the prestigious ‘Communications Ambassador 2016 Award’, one of the highest honours presented by ACOMMS Communications Alliance and CommsDay.
David left NetComm Wireless at the end of 2016 and is now splitting his time between various Strategic Adviser positions including his chairmanship at Pycom supporting our ubiquitous market introduction and expansive growth.

KO is a tech and finance industry heavyweight with a exceptional mix of experience counting three decades in international business operations, technology pioneering, and private-equity & venture capital investments. Holding various roles with Hewlett-Packard including various manufacturing, product management and sales management positions he moved to do a stint at Apple Computer.
KO then went on to build Premisys Communications, Inc. a venture-backed hi-tech start-up and taking it to a successful IPO. Prior to becoming president of the Hong Kong Venture Capital Association and joining Grace Financial’s executive management, he was Managing Director at Walden International, a US$1.6B, US-Asia private equity venture capital firm. There’s nothing KO doesn’t know about business.
Graduated from Production and Industrial Engineering, and further obtained post grad. Diplomas in Management and Finance from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Albert worked his way through both production and engineering roles to eventually becoming General Manager of Giant Electronics Ltd, a Hong Kong Japanese JV. However, his deep wish to create a manufacturing facility that would optimise the value of all stakeholders saw Albert create his own company in 1997.
The many world-class global customers Albert’s company now caters for is a strong testimony to the fact that he has achieved his mission to be one of the world’s best Electronics Manufacturing Service (EMS) providers. Albert prides himself at working hard and successfully at win-win solutions for all his customers. He’s a big advocate of a healthy work-life balance for everyone and enjoys many sports while living by the principles of “Learn, Love and Lead while Living”.

Bilingual French/English and avid football fan, when he’s not cooking or looking after the other crazy co-founders.

Bettina Rubek Slater

Bettina is a tech marketeer and one of the co-founders of Pycom. She brings to the company an incredible level of strategy combined with detailed operational insight. Something much needed when dealing with the rest of the team whom like to talk in terms of vision! She’s a multi-lingual Scandinavian and speaks English, French and German and spent 17 years in a variety of tech companies including major blue chip organisations and a handful of start-ups.
