Industrial automation makes use of data-driven management and control systems that include industrial computers, controllers, or robots, and sensors that help reduce the need for human action to run industrial processes or machinery. This in turn gives process engineers and facility managers much-needed visibility into production and enable them to optimise efficiency and output.
